Sources Code Program Conversi Citra Digital Visual Studio

A color mode that displays images using 256 shades of gray. Each color is defined as a value between 0 and 255, where 0 is the darkest (black) and 255 is the lightest (white)

Grayscale In computing, a grayscale or greyscale digital image is an image where the value of each pixel is a single sample. The image displayed on the image of this type consists of gray, varying in black color on the intensity of the weakest and the strongest white color on the intensity. Different grayscale image with the image of "black and white", which in the context of a computer, a black and white image only consists of 2 colors of "black" and "white" only.

In the grayscale image color varies between black and white, but color variations of them very much. Grayscale image is often the calculation of the intensity of light at each pixel in a single band of electromagnetic spectrum.

Grayscale image is saved in 8 bits for each pixel sample, which
allows as many as 256 intensity. This format is very helpful in programming for bit manipulation that is not too much. In other applications such as medical imaging applications and remote sensing is also commonly used 10,12 or 16 bit format.
